Officer Involved Shooting - March 19, 7pm
1910 Bennett @ Monarch
About ten days ago, a Dallas Police officer located a stolen vehicle in an alley near 5000 Worth Street. The perp escaped by driving the stolen vehicle around the squad car, tearing up the back wheel.
This evening, that officer spotted the stolen vehicle in an apartment parking lot at 1910 Bennett. After back-up arrived, the perp was observed leaving the apartment building (apparently while loading a U-Haul).
Shots were fired and the perp was hit. He is at Baylor, condition unknown. The female officer who shot the perp is not injured.
