The Dallas Reproductive Liberation March at Main Street Garden Park was one of nearly 600 events to support abortion rights ahead of a Supreme Court hearing this fall. An estimated 3,000 people attended this event.
The Dallas event focused not only on abortion rights in general, but the recently-implemented Texas SB8 law, which prohibits abortion after six weeks and allows private citizens to act as ‘bounty hunters,’ by suing people who get an abortion or helping someone get an abortion.
Following the rally, the protesters peacefully marched to Dallas’ West End Entertainment District.
