Dallas Police investigate violent drive-by shooting

The Dallas Police Department is investigating a violent drive-by shooting on Monday afternoon in the Old East Dallas neighborhood.

There were at least four shots aimed at the vehicle's driver, and his car struck a traffic light. The victim was taken to a local hospital in unknown condition.

Cameras at the convenience store at the intersection, and witness information, led to the arrest of a suspect about an hour later.
